Why is the United States the policeman of the world? Who died and appointed us police and savior? Why can't foreign countries take care of there own messes? Why can't we leave other countries alone, until they ask for our help? I am not saying alienate ourselves from the problems of the world, but international corporation without money would be great. It's called chairty or volunteer material and people. We created Hussien, why can't we mind our own business?

Feed the hungry ,clothe the naked, help with disasters, build shelters for the homeless, but not give there government one thin dime of our tax money, but there government will want something from us if we volunteer or services, like money that the people who need it will not get. So in that case Talk to the neighboring country and get them to help!

If the oppressed people can't take up arms against there own government, where is it written we will? There's always more of the citizens than government.

It goes back to WWII (actually further, but that would take a long time to explain). The bombing of Pearl Harbor of course sent us into the war. We started working to build up our military to deal with the Japanese and the Germans. Near the end of that war we used two atomic bombs in Japan. This gave us a very good defence: if you attacked us, we could drop the bomb on you. However, the USSR created their own atomic bomb within a few years, starting a massive arms race. Both sides spent large amounts of money on military innovation. Western European countries came to rely on us for military support, allowing them to reduce their military to support their social programs. The Soviet Union fell, leaving the US as the undisputedly most powerful military power in the world.

Why can't foreign countries take care of there own messes?
That first depends on what "taking care" of a mess is. Secondly it depends on the country and thirdly depends on our percieved national interests.

Why can't we leave other countries alone, until they ask for our help? I am not saying alienate ourselves from the problems of the world, but international corporation without money would be great. Because the Bush adminsitration either believed that it would help their re-election chances, the Republican Party's interest, their companies' interests, please their lobbyists, or maybe they thought that it would just be good for the nation to invade.

Why'd we prop him up? Because he was Iran's enemy and so were we.

Not exactly sure what you mean here, but foreign aid is given to manipulate actions of foreign governments to suit national interest.

If the oppressed people can't take up arms against there own government, where is it written we will?
When we feel that it's in our interest

There's always more of the citizens than government.
That doesn't always make rebellion possible. The goverment is usually backed by the military, which makes rebellion difficult.
