I have just found a brilliant web site with stunning photographs and details of ghost stories and evil deeds, both fact and legend. If you are interested in historic Britain, this is a good place to start. I recommed you start by clicking Glastonbury and Tintagel for Arthurian legend, and then Whitby for 'Dracula' and Thornton Abbey for the Abbot who was walled up alive for practising 'Witchcraft' - there are still Satanists who will visit the sight of the high altar during a full moon!!!

Let me know how you rate it, and whether you would like to visit some of the sites yourself.

I visit the high alter everynight - it's in my bedroom and my wife is on the throne, and I'm not a satanist.

Some cute animals - what a hodgepodge - castles, abbeys, ancient stones, watrfalls ..... ever consider being a tour guide?

P.S. I sent the web master of that site an e-mail. There is a typo on this page: http://www.mythandlegends.net/newamericanadeserts1.html --- see if you can spot it.

There is too much competition among young history grads. and undergrads. these days. My major was in social psychology. Seems like fun though, meeting weird Americans and all that!!!!! "Feed them with bullsh*t', they won't know the difference", I overheard one guide tell a newby.

Nice, site. I really like castles, sometime I want to see some of those on that site.

I have just gone back to that site, the webmaster has sanitised and abbreviated it, a pity; it is not nearly as good now!
