Who all in here watches the ABC show Lost???? I love this show, I think it is extremely well written but I just got done watching the season finally and was fairly disappointed. I thought they would reveal more secrets of the island than they did...oh well, guess I will have to wait until next season....
Did anyone else feel this way or am I alone in this????

Also, post your theories about various aspects of the last episode...who were the men that stole Michael's son, are they "the others", what will be in the hatch, why doesn't Jack trust Locke, what WAS that monster that attacted Locke (I think it was some sort of machine or something...something along the lines of a "booby trap"), and why the HECK are there polar bears on this island!

Dear lord that is the most frustrating show I've ever seen. But I can't stop watching.

The men that took Walt were the Others, I think. The baby was a red herring.

The monster sounded like a robot, and the answer to what that robot is will be found down that ladder which was found under the hatch.

The polar bear was a construct of Walt's psychic powers, I'm thinking. Didn't Locke say Walt was psychic, and hasn't weird things happened with him before? (I haven't seen all the episodes) Walt was reading a comic book with a polar bear in it the same episode it appeared.

It pisses me off that the season finale answered nothing, and just left more cliffhangers.

Me and my family are addicted to Lost. IMO, it's the best TV drama in years. Great story telling, terrific character development (probably the best I've ever seen), but as mentioned above, the cliffhangers are too plentiful. They keep you coming back, but it's like you never really figure out what the hell is really going on. Perhaps that is a part of the appeal?

I thought it ended just nicely, this is a great show and I dont want too many things answered right away or else the story will be stale come next season. I thought they were going to end the series when the "others" found the boat and that all will be explained in 20 minutes (which would have sucked).

I just hope that the only guy that died in this episode was the annoying teacher...and that somehow the black guy, the asian dude and the other guy will survive somehow.

I watched it for 5-6 episodes, but there were too many cliff-hangers for me. I'm fine with lots of mystery, but there has to be some hope that it will be answered eventually. It just seemed as though they were going to keep creating more story problems, and never solve them. Great writing, but half of the story ends up getting written by the viewer in speculation.

I have never thought of this, but you could be right, especially since the polar bear hasn't been seen since Walt has been getting along with his Dad.

weird (http://pirure.free.fr/bscap002.jpg)
weirder (http://www.livejournal.com/community/lost_tv/227464.html)

And this is the weirdest: But be warned, it's a photocpy of a page of the scipt saying what the monster is. However, I'm skeptical of the legitimacy of it, as it is hosted on the www.oceanic-air.com website, which is an official Lost website. There's some place where you can click on the seat numbers of the plane in the order of those weird numbers that keep showing up, and then you get to see a preview of Season Two. I suspect this is another image "hidden" on the website.

Ahhh...you know what. Yes, you are correct. There was just a big lapse of time that repeats were being shown (like a month or so), so I got it into my head (due to not watching it for a while) that we were on season 2 when it picked back up.

Sorry to scare anyone. hehe Nanderson is right...season 1 just ended.
