View Full Version : New Game! Scavenger Hunt!

I saw this on another forum and it was kind of fun. Its sort of like the Question and Answer thread. Someone names an object, then you try to find a picture of it and post it. If you are the first one to do so, you get to name the next object.

I guess before we begin, I should ask Apok and the Mods (Great 60's Band name BTW!) if its okay to do so.

Any problems with that format?

Well, that took about 15 mins. So I guess fun is relative. :D

The idea is to try to find something difficult but not impossible.

Uhm... Remember the football helmet shaped cars?

As long as the pics are not obscene or vulgar, and they are linked externally (I don't want to tie up the db or serverspace for this), feel free to play this game.

You can use the "img" tags to make the image appear w/i the post. See the BBCode link in the lower left of the page for more info.

okay, this game looks like fun...but what the heck does that mean? You're supposed to name an object and we're supposed to find a picture on the web. Forget that other mumbo jumbo (db is data base). This thread is older than old - it's gone past the point where time began. Find a picture of that!

well, c'mon, get real here. HOW in theheck do you find a picture of a nun performing dentistry or a helment shaped car???? Why don't you just ask for a picture of God??? (let me just rush right up to heaven with my polaroid, I'm sure He won't mind)

DEW HISTORY
The first sketches of Willy the Hillbilly that adorned the Mountain Dew bottle were created in 1948 by John Brichetto. Tri-City Beverage in Johnson City became the first Mountain Dew franchise in 1954. Bill Bridgforth, who joined Tri-City Beverage in 1958 as plant manager, is credited with perfecting the flavor of Mountain Dew as we know it today.

The old red-and-white labels feature a hillbilly shooting at a revenuer fleeing an outhouse with a pig sitting in the corner. Under the Mountain Dew lettering on the bottle, there are names of individual bottlers, sellers, and towns. The names on the bottles are intended to make the product feel like the illegally made liquor cooked up in mountain stills. In fact, the name Mountain Dew is slang for "moonshine."

mrs_innocent

Artist: ("I Love Lucy" by Harold Adamson and Eliot Daniel) Lyrics
Song: I Love Lucy Lyrics
There's a certain couple that I know.
They're strictly lovebirds,
A pair of turtle dove birds.
He's a guy who wants the world to know.
So ev'ry day
You'll hear him say

I Love Lucy and she loves me,
We're as happy as two can be,
sometimes we quarrel but then again
How we love making up again.

Lucy kisses like no one can,
She's my missus and I'm her man;
And life is heaven you see
Cause I Love Lucy
Yes I Love Lucy
and Lucy loves me.

OH MY GOD!!!!
FW: Don't drink the sea water... read below first....
The average blue whale produces over 400 gallons of sperm when it ejaculates, but only 10% of that actually makes it into his mate. So 360 gallons are spilled into the ocean every time one unloads, and you wonder why the ocean is so salty...
