So what do you do for a living?
Well, I took it in college. Intro to quadratic equations and logarithms, but no trig. (Does that qualify as college level?) It was a long time ago but I remember that the next year's course would have required the use of a graphing calculator.
Every several years I think about teaching myself some trig or calculus and look at a math book in the library. Then I remember I need a calculator for this stuff and put the book back on the shelf. Maybe I should have bought that TI80 way back when.
College-level abstract algebra or high school algebra?
Hey Galendir, what do you do for a living?
Aside from me and Clive, you're the only person here that I know of who knows what a partial derivative is. =P
(Aside from Zen, who's been gone for a while)
Here you've gone and made me do it again.
Post MORE. Lurk LESS.
I agree with Dio, although I don't know you. But please do visit us more.
Hey, YOU need to lurk less and post MORE. Don't make me have to tell you again.
Galendir. I have put off really giving you and Castle the thorough consideration you both deserve. Hopefully, I'll have a chance this weekend.
Life has been very busy for me recently.
Thanks for your interest in it though. It seems you and Castle enjoyed discussing!
