It was a bit narrative, but it was relevant to the debate. As the premise failed it is now about persuasion. There are multiple types of debate, and with that narrative I simply show the flaws of the opposition. That is how to win a debate using persuasion. It is certainly Craig's style of debate, and the style of most creationists. The Nye debate shows it eloquently. So if the rules prohibit the style than many here fall ill of that rule.

That was all metanarration and diatribe that isn't really supposed to be on a debating forum, but to answer your question, Squatch was passing off a fringe minority opinion as though it was the scientific consensus. That caused me to intervene and correct him.

However, you should be aware that it is against ODN rules to post on a debate forum thread with something that isn't directly relevant to the argument at hand.
