Quantity v. quality. Yes, you offered lots of rubbish.

You can support that or, as usual, just engage in a link war.

Already supported. You can either address it or miscast it.

You're lame link was pathetic at best whereas I provided direct support of the Catholic dogma concerning free-will. You should just quit as you're denials are looking pretty stupid.

You can say uh-uh and regurgitate points I've refuted if that floats your boat. Have a great day.

The Levite would be taxed an additional 5 denarii in order to pay for prisons, lawyers, schools and other services for the foreigners and their children. The Levite, being of middle class, would end up living paycheck to paycheck because 1/2 of his money went to pay for the Samaritans, much of it mismanaged for political projects like increasing the population of foreigners who would be beholden to the Samaritan class. Despite giving up over half of his salary to pay for the lavish lifestyle of the Samaritans, he'd still be reprimanded by these self-serving Samaritans who demanded that he still wasn't paying his fair share or doing enough. Further, he'd be called a racist if he complained.

Thank you for reminding us of Jesus' actual message. It is so very different than the message progressives would like us to learn.
I don't think it's different. You're interpretation is certainly cynical but admirable. If that's what you believe stick with it just as the early church martyrs did.

I think this is where it went wrong. The choice is the same as their is the threat/promise of reward and punishment in both.

Ok. I'll play along. Has god ever sent you a ticket? Arrested you? Put you in prison?

Are you saying God does not intercede in human affairs? Because believers ask/pray for things all the time and believe he does. The same with Jesus, Mary, and all the Saints.

But are you saying that God doesn't offer a promise of reward/punishment for behavior?

First, did I miss the day when God was handing out lollipops to the good kids and sending the bad kids to prison camps? Second, you didn't answer the question.

I don't know. You're saying that you know that God doesn't answer prayers and punish sinners? That'd be some pretty awesome information.

    This one?

"Ok. I'll play along. Has god ever sent you a ticket? Arrested you? Put you in prison?"

Are these things God specifically does or are there God equivalents? I've never been to prison...so no. But God has his own prison, called hell, and there's the potential for me to be sent there if I misbehave. Just like the governor could send me to prison.

I've been arrested and gotten tickets. Again, is this something God does or are there God equivalents?

You have a choice as to whether to believe in god or not believe in god, right?

Does it matter to the argument? He punishes both believers and non-believers alike.

    God: "You're going to hell."

Me: "Nope, I don't believe in you."

This seems analogous to what sovereign citizens try to pull with their interactions with the authorities. Usually doesn't end well in those hilarious videos I've seem.

So, you've heard god tell you that you're hell-bound? You've heard him tell someone else this? In the words of the immortal Mike Muir, "if you've spoken to god today, what did he say?"

Nope. Haven't been to hell either nor met anyone who has and returned. Does it that make it any less real, especially to someone who steadfastly believes?

You mean belief in God is based on personal faith and free will? If I dont believe in God then Hell isnt really a thing, is it?

I don't think so. If I don't believe in God but he really exists does that mean he doesn't exist? I think I was approaching it the other way round. Let's say God doesn't exist. Me and you know it, I dunno, somehow. Does that make the threat of punishment and reward any less real for someone who doesn't know and truly believes in God?

Sovereign citizens claim to not be under the jurisdiction of government yet they are often wrong...with hilarious results.
