    I don't find this a convincing argument for not raising the minimum wage (which is not to say that there are not other arguments that are convincing).

    Assuming $15/hour is a living wage then the problem with comparable pay for our troops is not that minimum wage workers want a living wage but that our troops are barely earning a living wage. The solution is that our troops should be payed more, not that others should not be able to earn the wage that our troops are currently being paid.
