Mind Trapped by - Trump vs North Korea - fire and fury

    http://abcnews.go.com/International/...ry?id=49123733
Link is to a ABC news report about current events. Specifically around Trumps "fire and fury" comments to NK, and various reactions from other nations and some senators, mostly depicted as walking the harsh language back and criticizing it.
Should we criticize it, or is walking it back inviting more conflict?

So there appears to be some conflict brewing in North Korea. Apparently they have a Nuke, and are moving towards being able to use it.
There seems to be some back and forth as to if Trump is right to use harsh language, but it is my opinion that if Trump were to formally and openly ask Congress to declare war, and secretly work with congress to have them deny it at this time.
That would be a GREAT message to send to NK. In as much as it shows that our leader is not afraid to go to actual war with them. To the extent it would communicate that the people are not ready, would depend on how congress responded.

Of all the messages, I think comments like Mc Cain saying Trump probably isn't ready to take action, is the most damaging. Because it casts doubt when we need certainty... you can't bluff with doubt.

    That impression aside.

    What is going on?
How do you see this unfolding?
    What is a "good" outcome?
How did NK get nukes anyway? Haven't we been "working" over the last .. I don't know .. forever to keep rouge nations from getting nukes?
I apologize to anyone waiting on a response from me. I am experiencing a time warp, suddenly their are not enough hours in a day. As soon as I find a replacement part to my flux capacitor regulator, time should resume it's normal flow.

I hate that our last election came down to "the Donald" and Hillary!
We (the public) should demand better. This is case in point, why.....

When Trump resorted to "fire and fury" type of comments, he lowered himself to the level of Kim (and raised Kim up...). Everyone knows the US can "destroy" the world as we know it.
There is no justification for this kind of chest thumping "my dick is bigger" kind of talk.

Politics has become such a sad state of affairs, and it really is soooooooooo important for the our survival.

We may be about to find out why we can't (yet) find "intelligent life" anywhere else but earth. We still waste so much of the human possibility on controlling each other.

Unless they start moving people out of Soule, I don't see a military action taking place. Of coarse, the longer you wait, the higher the stakes (we could have invaded prior to a working nuke for instance or even after the first detonation and not risked a nuclear retaliation) though I think Trump is a nut (and poster child for narcissism), so who knows, maybe....
