    Bayeux and Brexit

Here is an interesting article about the Bayeux tapestry. The Bayeux Tapestry is an embroidered cloth nearly 70 metres long and 50 centimetres tall, which depicts the events leading up to the Norman conquest of England concerning William, Duke of Normandy, and Harold, Earl of Wessex, later King of England, and culminating in the Battle of Hastings.

The tapestry is promised to be brought to England by the French President Emmanuel Macron.

What does it tell us about the UKs historic relationship with France just as the country is about the leave the European Union?

I would like to hear your opinion.
